AAF Columbus presents a fireside chat with Jason Porath. Jason is the author and artist behind "Rejected Princesses": a blog celebrating women of history and myth who were too awesome, awful, or offbeat for animated princess treatment. The blog went viral, which lead to his upcoming book by the same name.

We will kick off the evening by unveiling the winning work from our student competition 'The Pitch' for the Family Pride Network.

The main event will feature a discussion focused on how Jason used social media to promote the "Rejected Princesses" blog and grow the audience.

Jason was previously an Effects Artist/Effects Developer at DreamWorks Animation where he worked on movies such as “How to Train Your Dragon 2”, “The Croods”, and “Kung Fu Panda 2”.
